The Roma & Lazio Film Commission, operating to develop co-production initiatives both in Europe and further afield, is to organise in Berlin the 10th edition of co-production meetings of the CRC – Capital Regions for Cinema – a network of Film Commissions of European Capital Regions, representing France, the Latium region, the Comunidad de Madrid and Berlin-Brandenburg. The previous CRC meetings were organised in Rome during Rome’s last Cinema Festival.

The CRC meetings, to be held on 8 February at the headquarters of the Brandenburg Region, “Vertretung des Landes Brandenburg”, in den Ministergärten 1 - 10117 Berlin, close to Potsdamer Platz, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (including a light lunch buffet), will be attended by producers from Germany, Italy, France and Spain that have registered for the meetings. They will be putting forward their own projects or looking for projects to co-produce. Thanks to collaboration between the CRC network and the Film Commission of the state of New York the second half of the meeting will see the participation of US producers present at the Berlin Festival.
The European dimension and spirit of the network have recently been recognised and reinforced by the support given by Viviane Reding, European Commissioner for the Information Society and Media.
