Last October 2, the Rome and Lazio Film Commission made a presentation in New York to an audience of industry professionals outlining the opportunities the Lazio area offers to the international movie industry. The presentation, organized in partnership with the European Capital Regions for Cinema network, which was created to promote the European film industry in an agreement with the capital areas of Rome-Lazio, Berlin-Brandenburg, Paris-Ile de France and Madrid-Comunidad de Madrid, took place at The Players Club on Tuesday, October 2, in New York.

With the CRC network, the capital regions are promoting Europe and the European film industry, in addition to financial incentives and regional funds for the industry available from regional partners. Cristina Priarone, CEO of the Rome and Lazio Film Commission, outlined to industry professionals in New York:

• the opportunities for foreign producers who choose Rome and Lazio for their new films
• the regional financial resources available to the industry from FILAS - the regional development agency of the Lazio Region
• upcoming activities organized by the Rome and Lazio Film Commission during the 2007 Film Festival - The Business Street: 
• October 20 - CRC Coproduction Meeting for European producers, Bernini Hotel
• October 19 - Italy-India Coproduction Meeting, in collaboration with FILAS, Bernini Hotel
• October 20 - Location Tour of Rome and Lazio for Indian producers
• October 24 - Location Tour of Rome and Lazio for European producers
• The Rome and Lazio Film Commission will attend the Film Festival and will have a booth at the Auditorium
• The Rome and Lazio Film Commission will collaborate in the organization of the third annual Terre di Cinema on October 20, 21 and 22

The activities will take place in collaboration with "The Business Street," the Lazio Region,  FILAS, New Cinema Network, Capital Regions for Cinema, FICCI (The Indian Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry), and the Media Development Authority of Singapore.
