The Lazio Region and the Madrid Film Commission signed a agreement on March 18, 2005 at the Cervantes Institute in Rome to promote cinematographic and audiovisual coproductions between the two European regions. The agreement is part of the framework created by the European Capital Regions to promote European coproductions and provide support to European producers. The Agreement was signed by: Alex Voglino, Director of Culture, Sports, Entertainment and Tourism for the Lazio RegionCarlo Fuscagni, President of Cinecittà Holding Other participating personalities include: José Antonio Suarez, Secretary of the Madrid Film Commission The programme featured the signature of the agreement in the Exhibit Hall of the Cervantes Institute, followed by a press conference and cocktail buffet offered by ROMANATURA. The event was attended by various guests, italian producers, and personalities from the world of culture and cinema.
