The Agreement between the Lazio Region and Medienboard of the Berlin-Brandenburg region was signed on March 30, 2005, at the Cinecittà Holding Studios. The Lazio Region, the Commission du Film d’Ile de France, the Madrid Film Commission and the Medienboard Berlin – Brandenburg embody the Capital Regions of Cinema.

The agreement was signed by: Carlo Fustagni, Chairman of Cinecittà Holding for the Lazio Region, and Kirsten Niehuus, Administrator of Medienboard for Berlin Brandenburg. Other personalities present at the agreement include:

Alex Voglino, Director for Culture, Sport, Show business, and Tourism, Lazio Region,
Olivier-René Veillon, Director of Commission du Film d’Ile de France,
Manuel Soria Technical director, Madrid Film Commission
Jesus Gutierrez Madrid Film Commission.

The initiatives of the European Film Commissions of Lazio, Paris, Madrid and Berlin were defined and the meetings scheduled at the Cannes Festival with journalists and producers in order to delve into European projects and the Network created by these important international agreements.
