At the Berlinale’s Co-production Market, the third edition of the CRC Co-production Meetings organized by the CRC Capital Regions for Cinema, the Network of the European Capital Regions including the Ile de France, Comunidad de Madrid, Berlin-Brandenburg and Lazio, once again provided an important contact and development opportunity for 16 European producers from Spain, Germany, France, and Italy.
The co-production meetings were held in two major stages:
- presentation round table, with the presence of the 16 European producers and the representatives of the CRC Network and of the Berlinale’s Co-production Market
- one-to-one meetings detailing the projects and analyzing the co-production possibilities
On February 13, 2006, a meeting between the political representatives of the Capital Regions preceded the meetings amongst producers. The Italian, Spanish, French, and German delegations discussed the film industry policies of each region in the network and of the European Union, in general, as well as actions to increase the development of European co-productions and the expectations of the Capital Regions in the CRC network.
