During the 57th Berlinale Festival, the CRC Capital Regions for Cinema co-production meetings were held. The CRC meetings are now in their sixth edition after the editions held at Cannes 2005, Berlin 2006, Cannes 2006, Rome 2006, and San Sebastian 2006.

The meetings were held on February 9-10, 2007 at Berlin’s Vertretung des Landes Brandenburg and witnessed the participation of 16 Italian, 5 Spanish, 25 French and 25 German producers who discussed co-production projects.

The political representatives of the CRC Network capital regions met on February 12 at Berlin’s Kaisersaal to discuss the state of audiovisual policies in their respective regions and strategies for developing the CRC network with respect to creating a common fund, the compatibility of regional funds, and support for the Media Programme.
