On April 25, 2007, the CRC - Capital Regions for Cinema - Network was presented to the European Parliament at Strasbourg for official recognition of the Network and support of the European Community for the development of co-productions.

As an expression of the willingness to develop a film market transcending regional and national boundaries, in order to attain a broader European dimension, Filas stressed the implementation of two new financial instruments for film and audiovisual productions: venture capital for international co-productions and the fund for early VAT refund to foreign producers.
